How to Be A Birth Doula - Come to training in New Orleans!

November 18, 2016 Amanda Devereux
become a doula

If you're passionate about birth, a woman's right to choose her best birth, providing compassionate, non-judgemental support to families through any birth and being a family's touch stone through pregnancy, breastfeeding and early postpartum - then being a doula might just be for you!

Training is April 22-24.  The cost is $500, this includes 3 full days of hands-on training and certification, your childbirth and lactation courses are included too!  Don't wait to sign up - you'll need to complete all your study requirements before you come to training.  This is how we ensure everyone comes to training on the same page and we can launch into the really good stuff like how to build your business, labor and birth support skills, supporting birth with intuition, how to support women with epidurals, how to support cesarean births, conducting prenatal appointments, relational support, breastfeeding, postpartum, marketing and more!

I am incredibly blessed to have written the birth doula training program with Maria Pokluda of Great Expectations Birth and have been training doulas from all over the world.  Now, I have the amazing opportunity to train in my own beautiful, magical city!  Join us for doula training in April, when the air is filled with the scent of sweet olive, there's music on every corner and the spirit of the city is alive!

What more information? Reach out and we'll hang out and talk birth.  I can always talk birth!

XO,

Amanda
